The March EPX Marketing and Events Committee meeting will be held on Monday, March 24th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome.

The meeting will be held at the St. Agnes Continuing Care Center (Broad and McKean) in the Nuemann room. Ask the front desk for directions. Note this month’s meeting will not be held at Neumann-Goretti High School.

The first EPX Clean-Up of 2008 is Tasker Street (heading east) tomorrow Saturday, March 8th 10:00 am – approx. 11:30 am. (Should the clean-up need to be canceled due to weather, another e-mail will be sent and a message posted on the web site.)

Meet on the north east corner of Broad and Tasker.

Brooms and gloves will be supplied
– just bring yourself and your neighbors.

At this General Membership meeting there will be a discussion and vote of active membership on two special issues . See the “EPX Special Elections” post below for more information.

This month’s presentation will be E. Passyunk Ave. Business Improvement District (BID) – Michelle Gambino, Executive Director.

There will be a limited supply of printed agendas available at the meeting. It is encouraged that you download and print an
agenda here and bring with you.

Central South Philadelphia Civic Association Alliance (CSPCAA) – Senator Fumo Presentation

Senator Vincent J. Fumo will speak at an open meeting of the CSPCAA. This meeting is open to all members of the civic associations represented in the CSPCAA. He will be there to discuss his and his office’s efforts to address crime, trash, and other major neighborhood concerns.

CSPCAA is made up of the nine civic associations in Philadelphia who border Broad Street, south of Washington Avenue.

The March EPX Town Watch walks will be held:

  • March 5th (Wednesday) at 8:00 PM
  • March 19th (Wednesday) at 8:00 PM
  • next walk: March 28th (Friday) at 8:00 PM

**Walks are scheduled on the first and third Wednesdays and the fourth Friday of each month starting at the corner of 11th & Mifflin Streets at 8:00pm ** A walk will be canceled if it is raining at the start time.
