Join EPX on Sunday October 5th as we sponsor a table at The St. Nicholas Italian Festival! The event, which closes the neighborhood’s Catholic church autumn celebrations, begins at noon with a procession of the saints. The day continues with games, fine food, live music and fireworks ending the event at 9:00 p.m. EPX will staff our table from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m.  Learn the dates and times of our next scheduled clean-ups, membership meetings, town watch walks and other activities.  Sign up as a NEW MEMBER AND BE ENTERED IN TO A FREE RAFFLE, become a Block Captain and get TWO FREE RAFFLE TICKETS! Find out what EPX can do for each of us as a community, and what you can do to help EPX in our efforts to improve our already wonderful neighborhood.  Come out and support your civic association!!!

The October EPX General Membership meeting will be held on Monday October 6th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome.

The meeting will be held at the St. Agnes Continuing Care Center (Broad and McKean) in the auditorium. Ask the front desk for directions.

This month’s presentation will be from Sweat Gym and Jane’s Yarn Shoppe.

There will be a limited supply of printed agendas available at the meeting. It is encouraged that you download and print an agenda here and bring with you.

The next Clean-Up is Mifflin Street (heading east) Saturday, October 25th 10:00 am – approx. 11:30 am.

Meet on the north east corner of Broad and Mifflin Streets.
Brooms and gloves will be supplied – just bring yourself and your neighbors and together we will clean the sidewalk and street along Mifflin Street.

BONUS incentive, each EPX resident, or family, who helps with the  clean-up will receive a coupon for a FREE large size recycling bin, (on a first come, first served basis.)  Just bring the coupon over to our new office 1940 S. 13th St. right after the clean-up and take home your bin. Quantities are limited!  

Should the clean-up need to be canceled due to weather an e-mail will be sent and a message posted on the web site early evening of Friday, October 24th.
