Ninety-six neighbors attended the registration gathering at the Tolentine Community Center on Monday September 18, 2006 and became the first official voting members of the association.

The General Membership ratified the Association’s Corporate Constitution and Bylaws by vote of Eighty-two to One!

Along with the Articles of Incorporation, filed with the State of Pennsylvania, the Corporate Constitution and Bylaws complete the governing documents of the Association.

The next General Membership meeting of the still forming civic association has been confirmed. It will be held on Monday September 11, 2006 at the John-Nicholas Caterer’s hall 1840 S. Camac Street at 7:00 p.m. On the agenda will be reports from all five committees which have met in the last few weeks: Governance, Zoning, Block Captains, Town Watch, and Beautification (aka “Clean and Green.”) Also the final draft of proposed Corporate Bylaws will be discussed. Discussion of our official corporate name and boundaries will also be on the agenda.
