SADLY, Hurricane Sandy left some flooding damage in her wake to more than one of our tour homes, so we have decided to cancel and hopefully postpone until Spring 2013…However, we have a NEW TWIST!

Look for the 2013 EPX- MOBSTER Tour of Homes! Yes, take a guided tour with neighborhood “landed gentry” and visit, in addition to lovely non-MOB related homes, sites of famous former local MOBSTERS!!! Get firsthand accounts of the infamous local Kingpin’s murder on 9th and Synder and his irreverent funeral! Hear tales of the murderesses of East Passyunk Avenues “Poison Widows” and their profitable insurance fraud campaign against their own husbands…and so much more! Look for further details and LIKE the idea at our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/EastPassyunkCrossingCivic?ref=ts&fref=ts to spark more interest!

We will be holding our annual Fall cleanup on Saturday 10/27/12 from 9am – 1pm. Feel free to stay and help for as long as you can. We will be meeting at 8th and Mifflin at 9am for some light refreshments and then focusing on our boundaries eastern streets. This cleanup is in conjunction with the Passyunk Square Civic Association.
