This year’s festivities include a Sidewalk Sale for the Avenue’s merchants, food, & entertainment.

The location is on East Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia from McKean to Reed Streets.

Spaces are available at a cost of $25.

Craft and Art items should be hand-made by you. NO resale items please.

Central South Philadelphia Civic Association Alliance (CSPCAA) – General Meeting

This meeting is open to all members of the civic associations represented in the CSPCAA whou would like to discuss common issues to the neighborhood. If there is an issue that needs to be voted on only two representatives from each CSPCAA civic association can vote.

CSPCAA is made up of the nine civic associations in Philadelphia who border Broad Street, south of Washington Avenue.

The February EPX General Membership meeting will be held on Monday February 4th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome.

The meeting will be held at the St. Agnes Continuing Care Center (Broad and McKean) in the auditorium. Ask the front desk for directions.

Again this month we will be giving away a limited supply of the large sized blue Philadelphia Recycle containers. They will be available on a first come, first serve bases.

This General Membership meeting will see the introduction of two special issues requiring active members to vote. See the “EPX Special Elections” post below for more information.

This month’s presentation will be given by Beneficial Savings Bank.

There will be a limited supply of printed agendas available at the meeting. It is encouraged that you download and print an agenda here and bring with you.

For the second year, East Passyunk Avenue will be celebrating DooWop with a Muscle Car Show and Street Festival on Sunday, August 12. Come enjoy 100 muscle cars, and dine and shop the Avenue between McKean and Reed Streets.

Performing at the Main Stage will be Danny Colingo of the Four Aces. An assortment of acapella groups will be featured along East Passyunk Avenue. There will be fun for everyone. So come and stroll the Avenue this Sunday afternoon and enjoy all that it has to offer.
