Governance Meeting Highlights

The second meeting of the forming association’s Governance committee was held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 6th in the Tolentine Community Center. Eight members were in attendance and three other members submitted input via email prior to the meeting.

The final draft of the Corporate Bylaws was approved for submission to the General Membership at their September 11th meeting! Election and nomination protocols for the General Membership meeting were also reviewed and approved. The need for a disclaimer statement regarding individual’s entries not representing the “voice” of the Corporation, on the listserv, was addressed. Examination of available site locations for regularly scheduled General Membership meetings occurred. Both St. Agnes Continuing Care Center and Saints John Neumann/Maria Goretti High School are being considered. The new Board, once in place, will most likely meet at the Tolentine Community Center.
