Get ready for an exciting return of one of Philadelphia’s most beloved food festivals! After a resounding success in 2024, where the community came together to enjoy delectable gravies and cheer on talented chefs, the Red Gravy Cook-Off is back and better than ever, thanks to the East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Day of Flavor and Fun for Everyone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set your calendars for November 2nd from 4-6 PM, as we gather at Saints Neumann and Goretti High School, located at 1736 S 10th St in Philadelphia. This year’s event promises to be more vibrant and lively, featuring not only the rich flavors of homemade gravies but also fantastic entertainment, music, and activities for kids. Participants can enjoy a thrilling 50\/50 raffle and compete for exciting prizes, including the coveted title of Best Red Gravy and our newly introduced category for Best Vegetarian Gravy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Heartfelt Culinary Showdown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve passionate contestants will bring their A-game, adding new twists to traditional gravies that reflect their culinary journeys. From inventive vegetarian options to classic family recipes, there will be an array of sauces to taste, savor, and celebrate. Attendees will have the chance to experience this culinary showdown and join in the fun of sharing stories and recipes with neighbors, all culminating in a grand pasta dinner topped with the gravy of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
