Join AXIS Philly, NBC 10, and EPX for a community panel meeting on the future of the newly closed Bok School building at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 at New Hope Temple Baptist Church, 711 S 12th St. A panel including Councilman Mark Squilla, PEW Trust’s Larry Eichel, and EPX Zoning Chair David Goldfarb will answers questions and engage the community about the future use of the eight story, 338,000 square feet building at 9th and Mifflin.

6th Annual Philly Spring Clean-up is here! We need all the volunteer support we can get to help spring clean the neighborhood. The event is taking place April 13 from 9:00 AM to 2:00. We will meet at the EPX Center at 1729 11th St. Our focus will be on the 9th Street corridor from Snyder to Tasker. We will also do a quick clean-up at Neumann Goretti before we head to 9th. Recycling bins will be available for all volunteers. You can register here.

EPX will host, at the request of Councilman Squilla, an AVI (Actual Value Initiative) presentation on Tuesday, March 26th at 7:00.pm. in the auditorium of Ss. Neumann-Goretti High School.

The list of presenters includes Councilmen Squilla and Kenney, as well as representatives from the Board of Revision of Taxes (BRT) and the Office of Property Assessment (OPA)!

Make-a-Wish Fundraiser at the Fountain

Alphabet Academy is hosting a “Bunny Hop” with the Easter Bunny to raise funds to send Gabe to Disney. Gabe is only 5 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. In addition to helping this little boy achieve his dream, your child will learn an invaluable lesson about how wonderful it feels to play a role in helping others in need.
