Snow & other delays of trash pick-up in EPX

The recent flurry of snowstorms and the President’s Day holiday, on 2/16, have caused additional delays in the City’s managing to pick-up trash in many areas of Philadelphia, and in particular South Philly.

The Managing Director’s Office, through the 311 system, has informed EPX that the city expects to be back on tract this week, with one day delays So regardless of last 10 days of snow delays, if your normal trash day is Tues, expect it t be picked up on Wednesday and so forth.

Also, the city does NOT recommend putting the trash on the corner of your street or on the snow piles. They will pick up trash on curbside, if you have access to your curb, or on your pavement.

Hang in there, Spring is only 35 days away!
