Bring your friends and your neighbors! EPX will be serving as a partner in Mayor Nutter’s Philly Spring Cleanup. So, work with us at the clean-up and then celebrate with us afterwards on a job well-done at a Celebration at Lincoln Financial Field!

East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association and Town Watch (EPX) will be cleaning:
S. Broad Street between Tasker Street and Snyder Avenue
Snyder Avenue, between Broad and 8th streets
We will be picking up trash and recycling!

Regarding the weather and the possibility of rain, this is what the city is saying:
Light rain is predicted in the morning, but it is supposed to clear into the day. We will only cancel the Cleanup in the event of major rain and lightening. So throw on a rain jacket and plan to maybe get a little wet.

April 5 Clean up Schedule:
9 – 10 am Volunteer Check In at the southeast corner of Broad & Tasker streets
10 am – 2 pm Clean Up
2 – 5 pm Eagles Post Clean-up Volunteer Appreciation Party at Lincoln Financial Field
The city will be supplying us with gloves, brooms, and biodegradable trash bags and recycling bags. Bottled water and light snacks will also be provided.
The fire department will also be on hand that day to provide home fire safety information and smoke alarm installation information.

Post Clean-Up Celebration
Join the Mayor and the rest of the day’s clean-up crews for a Post-Clean-Up Celebration hosted by the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field!
There will be music, a BBQ and a thank you from Mayor Nutter. All volunteers will receive a wristband that will allow them to travel free on SEPTA within city limits until 6 pm the day of the clean up so you can travel to the stadium and back home again.
This city-wide effort will clean 5,000 residential blocks and 50 commercial corridors, beautify 10 acres of Fairmount Park and remove over 1 million pounds of garbage. Over 25,000 volunteers are anticipated. For mover information visit www.phillycleanup.com.
