Hello, EPX Community!
We’re excited to share some exciting news with you. The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center is hosting a special event that we believe you’ll find both informative and engaging. Mark your calendars for Community Science Day, taking place at Southwark School on Saturday, September 30th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
What’s Community Science Day all about?
This event is all about promoting health and raising cancer awareness within our community. The aim is to encourage regular health screenings and foster a sense of well-being among our neighbors. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about cancer prevention and treatment options, and it’s also a chance to connect with fellow community members who share similar health concerns.
What to Expect:
- Wellness Screenings & Flu Shots: Take advantage of free health screenings to monitor your well-being and stay proactive about your health by getting your flu shot at the beginning of the season.
- Kid-Friendly Science Exhibitions: Engage in interesting exhibitions that make learning about health and wellness fun for all ages.
- Community Spirit: Connect with your neighbors and strengthen our community spirit by coming together for this important cause.
Thank you for being a valued member of our community, and we hope to see you there on September 30th.
