2nd Annual Philly Spring Cleanup

Help us give Philadelphia a good spring cleaning!

On April 4th, join Mayor Nutter and thousands of volunteers in neighborhoods across Philadelphia for the 2nd Annual Philly Spring Cleanup. Last year East Passyunk Crossing registered more than 70 volunteers to help the city remove 2.5 million pounds of trash and litter from our streets.

The theme of this year’s event will be Building Sustainable Communities, so in addition to street cleaning, we have additional projects to get as many people as possible involved. These include cleaning up vacant lots, distributing recycling bins, cleaning up graffiti, distributing “No Circulars” stickers, and others.

Our group may not be listed on the city website yet, so email sausprich @ gmail .com to register. Or just come to our office at 1940 S. 13th Street the morning of the cleanup to register between 9 and 10 am and pick up your supplies!

For more info on other areas of the city and general information on the 2nd annual Philly Spring Clean Up, go to the city cleanup website at www.phillycleanup.com.
