Free Rain Barrel Workshop for residents of the Delaware Direct watershed
Date: Thursday, August 20, 2009 Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Location: Methodist Hospital 2301 S. Broad St. Morgan Conference Room (entrance on Broad St., basement level)
The Philadelphia Water Department and Fairmount Park will be redirecting storm-water runoff into green
spaces and restoring the waterway itself over the next two decades. Your participation in this workshop will assist us
with making this project a sustainable success.
The first 60 residents that have pre-registered for and attend the workshop will receive a FREE RAIN BARREL*!

The workshop will include:
• Brief overview of the rainwater cycle
• Green Homes update
• Information on the importance of storm-water management at home
