City Paper: Restaurant Week has come and gone, but for eateries outside the “Center City Districtâ€, multiple courses for $20 or $30 are still on the menu. Philly Neighborhood Food Week runs October 11-18 and highlights quality cooking in Northern Liberties, East Passyunk, Manayunk, Chestnut Hill and Penn’s Landing. We’re keen on the appetizer-pasta-entreé ensemble ($30 per person) at the well-regarded Le Virtù (1927 E. Passyunk Ave.).
Thrillist: No longer content to play second fiddle to Center City, six surrounding hoods’re onboard for the inaugural PNFW, kicking off Sun and featuring 35 restaurants offering three/four-course, (way-discounted) $20/$30 prix-fixes. Entrées include (…) carne asada or enchiladas mole at East Passyunk’s El Zarape.
