6th Annual Car Show & Street Festival

East Passyunk Ave between Dickinson & Broad Streets
2010’s Car Show (formerly the DooWop) brought over 130 classic, muscle and antique cars, trucks and motorcycles to the Avenue and thousands of visitors to enjoy them. This year’s Car Show will feature live music and DJs on every block, street food and summertime beverages, vendors, face painting, and fun for the whole family.
Live music starts at noon outside of the Bottle Shop with local blues singer/songwriter, reggae at EPA & 12th Street (12:30-2:30pm), a DJ at the Fountain, modern/alternative rock & country in front of Le Virtu at 2pm and good old rock n roll outside of Mamma Maria’s from 2:30-4:30pm. The live music continues with a block party at Stogie Joe’s until 9pm!
Don’t miss the Bang! Boom! CRAFT! show at the Fountain, featuring over 30 artisans with handmade clothing, jewelry, artwork and more; the Frame Fatale vintage photographer; or a free ride or drive in a 2011 Camaro Convertible or the new Chevy Volt, GM’s electric car.  EPABID will have raffle tickets available for 4 week-long loan 2011 Camaros, all proceeds will benefit Avenue cleaning and greening programs!
$15 for participating cars, FREE for attendees. Over 60 trophies are awarded to show cars, trucks & motorcycles, including Top 50, Best Stock, Best Modified, Car & Motorcycle Best of Show, EPABID pick + specialty trophies.
