The new association held an official General Membership meeting on September 11, 2006 at The John-Nicholas catering hall. Well over 100 neighbors were in attendance. In addition to reports from the various interim committees and a brief overview from the organizing committee, the following actions were taken.
The official name of the corporate civic association will be the East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association and Town Watch. The official boundaries for the Association will be Snyder Avenue on the south, Broad Street on the west, Tasker Street on the north, and Ninth Street on the east.
The final draft of the Corporate Constitution and Bylaws was presented and ratification ballots, as well as membership forms, will be available for completion at the Tolentine Community Center on Monday, September 18th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Please bring proof of residency at that time. See Election Protocols for acceptable proof of residency.
The first official Board of Directors was elected by acclamation from a slate of fifteen neighbors as proposed by the Organizing and Governance committees. They are in alphabetical order:

Regularly scheduled monthly General Membership meetings will begin Monday October 2, 2006 at the St. Agnes Continuing Care Facility at Broad and McKean Streets in their auditorium. Meetings will always be held the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
