Tree Digging – November 6th

EPX in conjunction with Lower Moyamensing Civic, will be getting together Saturday Nov. 6th, 10am-12 noon; to do some early prep work for our Fall Planting. We will be removing dead trees and preparing the tree pits so we can plant new trees during our upcoming Fall planting. We are looking for about 10-20 volunteers to help us remove the trees, and get their hands dirty a bit amending the pits. It’s a great way to get outside, spend some time with your neighbors, get some exercise and please feel free to bring the family. We will meet at South Philly High at 10am. There will be coffee and lite fare available for volunteers before we head out in groups, to various sites around the neighborhood. You don’t need to bring anything other than some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and one of your friends. So please let me know if you would like to help in any way with either event.

Contact Scott Collings with any questions.
